Your Role
As a CNA at our Wichita facility, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and patients. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, empathetic, and eager to make a tangible difference in the community.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate patient health status and changes to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Kansas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as required.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
