Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, and assist nurses during medical procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Arizona CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
