Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
  • Monitor patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the charge nurse.
  • Assist with patient mobility, including transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN or physician.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered CNA or LPN license in the State of Texas.
