Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, patient intake, and output.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of patient rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies during the night shift.
- Document all care provided in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification in the state of Missouri.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
