Your Role:

As a CNA on our night shift, you will be the vital link between our patients and the nursing staff. You will provide hands-on care, ensuring our patients feel safe, comfortable, and respected during their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care during night shifts, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Report any changes in patient condition or immediate concerns to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse promptly.
  • Ensure patient safety by following infection control protocols and checking safety alarms frequently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
  • Document patient care activities and observations in electronic health records (EHR) with precision.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (CNA-I or CNA-II) required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced night shift environment.
