Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent injury.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Document patient care activities and interactions in electronic health records accurately.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the job.
- Must be compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to patient well-being.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
