Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Support nurses with patient positioning and transferring techniques
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain clean and organized patient rooms and equipment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be Pennsylvania CNA certified or willing to obtain within 90 days
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
