Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes
- Ensure patient comfort and safety through proper positioning and mobility assistance
- Assist with patient transportation and movement within the facility
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Report patient concerns and observations promptly to medical team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary – training provided!
- Current California CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training available)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate attitude and commitment to patient dignity
- Must pass background check and health screening
