Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain clean, safe environments following strict infection control protocols
- Document care activities accurately in resident charts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize resident outcomes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary – we provide comprehensive training
- Must pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license preferred (for facility transport)
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly populations
- Commitment to completing our 4-week CNA certification program
