Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Document patient observations and care provided in medical records
- Transport patients safely within the facility
- Provide basic patient comfort and emotional support
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of state-approved CNA training program (provided if inexperienced)
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature with commitment to patient dignity
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
