Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Support patient comfort through positioning, feeding, and hygiene care
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain clean and organized patient rooms and care areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient needs are met
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary - we provide paid training!
- Current Texas CNA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for diverse patient populations
- Pass background check and drug screening
