Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, including walking and transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and physicians regarding patient status and needs.
- Support patients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior professional experience required—willingness to learn is key!
- Valid CNA certification (if applicable) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Compassionate nature and a strong desire to help others.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
