Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor residents' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
- Document resident care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
- Engage residents in social activities and therapeutic exercises to promote mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- CPR certification is a plus.
