Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Document care activities accurately in resident records
- Support nutritional needs and meal assistance programs
- Maintain clean, safe environments in resident rooms and common areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for resident-centered care
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to various Louisville locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
