Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated patient support
- Support meal service and nutritional monitoring for residents
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospice experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
