Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Support social activities and emotional well-being of residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with shift scheduling (including weekends/nights)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate demeanor with geriatric population
