Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
- Report patient changes and concerns to clinical supervisors promptly
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in clinical setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights/weekends (self-scheduled)
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation to multiple Boston locations
- Proof of negative TB test and flu vaccination
