Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Administer medications as per care plans and state regulations
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance resident wellbeing
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement personalized care plans
- Transport residents to appointments and activities as needed
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and health screening
