Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient progress and care plans accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient well-being.
- Relevant experience in a hospital, home health, or long-term care setting is preferred.
