Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document resident conditions accurately
- Support meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments through proper sanitation protocols
- Participate in team huddles and family care conferences
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with empathy and patience
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
