Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient behavior, and health changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Support daily living activities while maintaining patient dignity and independence
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to implement care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or acute care
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling availability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate approach with strong attention to detail
