Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors through conversation and activities
- Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments, social events, and errands safely
- Monitor client well-being and report changes to care coordinator
- Engage clients in cognitive stimulation and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Flexibility to work weekends and some evenings
