Job Overview:
As a Caregiver with KC Comfort Care, you will provide essential personal care and companionship to clients in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and ready to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take medications and assist with medication administration where required.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, play games, and accompany clients to appointments or social outings.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, family members, and the care coordination team to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred but not required for entry-level compassionate care.
- License: Valid Missouri Driver's License and current auto insurance required for transportation.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or caregiving is a plus.
- Personality: A kind, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
- Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule and adhere to strict attendance policies.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
