Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and activities to promote mental well-being and reduce loneliness.
- Medication Management: Provide reminders for daily medications and assist with light errands as needed.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly to client needs and communicate any changes in condition to the office.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related field is a plus but not required; we provide training.
- License: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Attributes: Must be patient, empathetic, and have excellent communication skills.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification is highly desirable.
