Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance to ensure client safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer emotional support, companionship, and engaging conversation to reduce loneliness.
- Monitor client health and report any changes, symptoms, or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (required for most positions).
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Previous experience in Home Health, Hospice, or Personal Care preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
