Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health to the nursing staff.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, hobbies, and light activities to reduce loneliness and boost mental well-being.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a safe living environment.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and grocery shopping.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required; we provide paid training.
- Licensure: Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Driver’s License: A valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
- Compassion: A genuine, patient, and empathetic attitude toward elderly or disabled individuals.
- Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and punctuality.
