Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure client hygiene and comfort.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed.
- Prepare nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily health logs.
- Engage clients in light exercise, hobbies, and social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance.
- CPR/First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
