Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniquesPrepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document health observationsAdminister medications and treatments as per care planEngage clients in meaningful activities and companionshipTransport clients to appointments and social outingsMaintain clean, safe home environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experienceCurrent CPR/First Aid certificationValid Texas driver's license with clean recordAbility to pass criminal background check and drug screeningHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, empathy, and physical staminaExperience with dementia care preferred
