Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and medication adherence while documenting care notes
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe living environments
- Create engaging activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience (home care or senior living)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Compassionate demeanor with exceptional patience and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
