Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, bathing, and dressing
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and medication management as needed
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with family members
- Follow personalized care plans to ensure client safety and well-being
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or CNA certification
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
- Compassionate nature with patience for elderly care needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
