Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping and errand services
- Document client progress and provide status updates to care team
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Implement individualized care plans with precision and empathy
Qualifications
- Michigan state-certified Home Health Aide (HHA) license
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with vulnerable populations
