Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Light housekeeping tasks including laundry and tidying living areas
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities accurately and maintain client confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional home health aide or caregiver experience
- Current Florida HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate demeanor and patience working with elderly or disabled clients
- Clear background check and drug screening results
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
