Responsibilities
- Delicate personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with prescribed dietary needs
- Administer medications as per care plan guidelines
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Transport patients to medical appointments and errands
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care
Qualifications
- Nebraska State HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation for patient visits
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
