Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and document vital signs (BP, glucose, temperature)
- Assist with patient mobility and transfer techniques
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Maintain strict infection control protocols
- Report patient changes to nursing staff immediately
- Update patient records accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends)
