Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in diverse settings including ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and specialty units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and facility-specific protocols
- Document care using EMR systems with precision and timeliness
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with clinical competence
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred for ER/ICU)
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
