Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Maintain accurate medication administration records and inventory
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for facility assignments
