Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and specialty units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Deliver patient education and support to patients and families
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response codes
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures and interventions
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for specialty units
- Graduated from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Reliable transportation for facility assignments
