Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or specialty nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
