Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including med-surg, ICU, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical progress accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to infection control standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions as needed
Qualifications
- Active TN Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC, Cerner, etc.)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work autonomously
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
