Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings (ER, ICU, MedSurg, Telemetry)
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
- Monitor patient status using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
- Implement infection control protocols and safety standards
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (or compact state license)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for ICU/ER roles
- Strong EHR proficiency (Epic/Cerner experience preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
