Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform accurate documentation per facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact license with willingness to obtain PA license)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in specialty unit
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (EPIC, Cerner preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
