Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Take digital dental radiographs and accurate dental impressions
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems efficiently
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials for optimal workflow
- Provide chairside assistance with advanced dental technologies
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current RDA/X-Ray certification in California required
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience in a fast-paced practice
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dexis digital imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail
