Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument sterilization
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterile equipment protocols
- Take dental X-rays and perform preliminary patient assessments
- Manage patient records using digital practice management software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up communications
- Coordinate inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Nevada state
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental X-ray technology and infection control
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and patient comfort focus
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings
