Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, treatments, and surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control
- Inventory management and ordering dental supplies
- Update patient records and digital charts
- Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care
- Ensure OSHA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered with DANB
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of infection control procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Nevada state radiology license (if applicable)
