Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain equipment
- Take dental X-rays and assist with digital imaging
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Provide post-procedure instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Order supplies and maintain inventory control
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience required
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Digital radiography (X-ray) proficiency
