Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining OSHA compliance protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide under dentist supervision
- Train new staff members on clinical workflows and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas RDA certification or eligible for registration
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously with efficiency
