Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays and maintain patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized operatory
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide chairside support during restorative procedures
- Deliver post-operative instructions to patients
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
