Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Perform chairside support with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for efficient patient flow
- Implement HIPAA-compliant patient record management systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA credentials required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of digital dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Experience with digital impression systems (iTero, TRIOS)
- Ability to work independently in remote support capacity
