Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs as directed.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing inquiries efficiently.
- Assist with lab work and inventory management of dental supplies.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Dental Assisting.
- Certification (CDA or RDA) preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates.
- Current Washington State X-ray license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
