Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and procedures with efficiency and precision.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Take and develop digital dental X-rays (Radiographs) and intraoral images.
- Greet patients, update medical histories, and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order stock as needed.
- Assist in providing post-operative instructions and recovery care.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent state licensure required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience with digital dentistry software (e.g., Eaglesoft, OpenDental) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to infection control protocols.
